What's on your plate? ... Football Nuggets

 
Hello!!...Today I will share a fun recipe that everyone will love :)
Football Nuggets 

Ingredients:

1 lb. grounded  chicken ( you can use turkey as well)
1/4 cup very well chopped onion
1 egg
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
salt & pepper 
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup mozzarella cheese, in small rectangles
1 bag of skewers (optional)

What to do:

Start with your grounded chicken in a bowl, deep enough to mix. Add chopped onions, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Work with the ingredients until they're  well mixed together. Now heat the oil in a medium pan and in the meantime you can start forming your nuggets; work with the chicken mix in your hands and place a piece of cheese in the middle of it.  Form a nugget with a foot ball shape. Make sure they are flat, so they can cook evenly on each side and the cheese can't melt out of your nugget. Cook in oil for about 3 minutes on each side (or depending how small//big your nuggets are). Place them in a plate with a napkin and let them sit for 2 minutes before you stick a skewer into it. Now enjoy!! ...I like mine with sweet potato fries and spicy guacamole :)
